- jingwai lA little gem in Kyoto! My family of 6 stayed in this house a few months ago. It is newly built with nice design. The owner must have given much thoughts to make it both cosy & comfortable. It has two floors, each has separate toilet shower facilities. We love the tatami, Japanese style curtains, wooden ceiling, etc. Situated in a quiet neighborhood, it is easily accessible within 5-10 mins walk from train stations. There are several cafes nearby, again within 1-2 minutes walking distance. We had a yummy breakfast in a unique cafe in one morning! Highly recommended to anyone who wishes to enjoy convenience and calmness at the same time! We would surely come back when we go to Kyoto again :)
- Charlotte Jthe guest house was comfortable + it had a lot of amenities such as an espresso machine and a mini onsen tub. the house is well preserved and has a very tastefully done interior and exterior. also the host Koki-San was very swift in her replies and was very helpful throughout the stay. would strongly recommend to anyone who wants to have a stay in Kyoto (there is a nearby tram and subway station all in walking distance and there are also many bus stops nearby making it very accesible by public transport).
- Timothy TComfortable and very conveniently located with the train station (to Gion area and Osaka) just at the doorsteps. Koki san, the host, was extremely helpful and friendly. The bathroom was just fantastic. I feel like staying in an onsen hotel in the heart of Kyoto! The neighborhood is quiet and airy and there are numerous interesting local restaurants around. Highly recommended!
